Modern Art History

I am minoring in art history and find that this knowledge has really enriched my creative and teaching practice. In this art history course, we have studied art movements from impressionism, to cubism, to surrealism, and beyond.

Children's book

Per one assignment, I created a children's book on a subject from our course. I arranged quotes, collaged and edited photographs, and wrote the text. This book, designed for younger readers, aged around ten, tells the life story of Russian futurist painter, Natalia Gontcharova. I also gave a presentation about Gontcharova prior to creating this book.
